We host fantastic cupcake decorating workshops for both adults and children available daytime and evenings.

Want to add some extra sweetness to your birthday, hen party, or friends' get-together? Let Essence of Cake bring the fun to you with a cupcake decorating party! Whether at your place or ours.
You'll get hands-on with icing, sprinkles, and more, learning fabulous techniques along the way. We'll bring all the gear—aprons, cupcakes, buttercream, fondant, and all the trimmings—so you just need to bring your creativity and appetite for fun!
We have three packages available:
Beginners Party
- £45 per person (minimum of 4 people)
- Approximately 2 hours
- 4 cupcakes to decorate
Intermediates Party
- £55 per person (minimum of 4 people)
- Approximately 3 hours
- 3 cupcakes to decorate + teddy bear modelling
Bespoke Party
- Cupcake designs created around your personal theme
- Starts from £45 per person (minimum 4 people)
- Approximately 2 hours

Payment
We accept payment by credit and debit cards and bank transfer.
A 50% non refundable booking deposit is required to secure your required date, with the remaining balance due 1 week prior to your booking date.

Nothing beats the joy of seeing kids having a blast, and that's exactly what you'll get at one of our parties! For a stress-free birthday bash or a special celebration, let Essence of Cake bring the fun to you with a cupcake decorating party right at home.
The children will discover loads of new decorating skills they can use over and over, all while enjoying themselves to the fullest! And if you fancy turning up the fun, you can add a 'baking' option to the package, letting the kids whip up and bake the cupcakes they'll soon be decorating!
Get ready for a party full of sprinkles and giggles! We bring everything—aprons, cupcakes, buttercream, fondant, and all the decorating gear—so your little ones can enjoy every moment of baking magic. Suitable for budding bakers from age 3. Plus, we’re DBS checked for your peace of mind!

- Approximately 1.5 hours
Choosing a different spot? No worries, just ensure there's an oven to cook in and a place to tidy up afterwards!
Food Package
Make it a feast! Add our food bolt-on to the package, and each child can tuck into a delicious selection of sandwiches, crisps, fruit, a treat and a drink—all for just £10.00 per child!
Themed Balloons
Give your party a burst of fun with themed balloons – great for decorating the venue and perfect for the kids to take home! Ask us for more information.
